Doc - the scope in this package is a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9X40 scope. If you are not familiar with the Vortex Crossfire II, I can personally attest it is the best scope I have ever used for the money. Clear glass, precise adjustments, and a very good parallax adjustment, it is definitely up to the task of putting those 6.5 Creedmoor rounds where you want them to go. . And, it is covered by Vortex's "no questions asked' lifetime warranty and Vortex has one of the best customer service programs I've ever encountered. A great combination - a rifle backed by Savage's experience and great reputation, with probably the best scope for the dollar one could get. Can't make a mistake with this one.
