Does the 45 come with white dot sights? Can you add new sites to the firearm? I had heard that you cannot change the sites on the 45 model.

Mike - I own and carry daily the Shield 45acp. It comes with white dot sights. I personally changed the sights on mine to a set of tritium night sights. Exactly like changing the sights on any Shield ... nothing difficult about it. Sights are available pretty much anywhere that sell sights - I always use Dawsonprecision.com.
