  • if this is listed as a semi automatic, then how can the action be single or am I missing something?

  • James, there are many handguns that are "Single Action" Semi-Automatic handguns such as 1911's. Glock's etc. Single Action simply means the slide must be manually racked to be able to fire. If a round does not go off in a Single Action, you must manually rack the slide to chamber/fire the next round. On a double Action you would pull the trigger again as it has 2nd strike capability whereas a Single Action does not.
