Any way to tell if these rifles from buds are part of the recall?

Eve, not without providing S&W with a Serial Number I'm afraid.

all S&W 15 22lr guns are part of the recall but you just enter the S/N and S&W if it falls in the affected S/Ns sends you a gauge to check your bolt with. If the bolt is out of spec Smith will send you a new one. I had to check mine
