I use Aguila 380 FMJ 95 grain for my Bersa Thunder 380 for range and have never had any issues. Will this same ammo work for
my new taurus spectrum 380 for range/break in or do I need to switch to Federal Federal 380 is hard to find here and even on Buds is only offered in a large 350 number box?

I would start with it and not change unless for some reason the spectrum has issues with the ammo

Doug, Shoot whatever works for you and you can get. Why not get the 350 quantity box? That's one range session. Ball ammo or hollow points they all work. The Spectrum should feed and function with any modern .380 ammo out there.

Doug, the Aguila will be perfectly fine in the Spectrum. I would highly recommend the Hornady "Critical Defense" for carry : budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/56780/hornady+380+auto+critical+defense+90+grain+critical+defense
