  • Michael, these are slightly softer compared to the originals for Optimum Balance Between Shock Absorption and Longevity. Easily replaceable after absorbing up to 1,000 rounds of repeated firings where the originals were harder, lasted longer but yielded less shock absorption.

  • I run 1911's without them because it is impossible to slingshot the slide with them in most guns. I shoot competitively and the gun will wear out before you batter the slide to death. I don't recommend them because they usually come apart at the worse possible moment and tie the gun up.
