what do I need to mount a single or double point sling

Tom, this will depend on your hand guard. If it is KeyMod you would need a KeyMod Sling adapter : budsgunshop.com/catalog/search.php?q=keymod+sling&type= --- or the appropriate adapter for your given hand guard.
