I've used the HSM flat nose lead bullets before in my Henry big boy and have had almost zero issues with the ammo. Will this semi wad cutter bullet work as well, and since it is a heavier bullet is it a "punchier" round?

Steven, the Semi Wad Cutter should function just fine Sir. Any rifle can be finicky with various ammo so I would test a box before bulk purchases. The heavier bullet will have more punch and penetration.
