  • Cody, this pistol has a "Standard 1911 Barrel Bushing". For safety reasons, always check the barrel for proper fit and lockup before letting loose.

  • yes it is a standard 1911 barrel bushing The barrel and bushing should be fitted despite ads that say "drop in" 1911 parts should be fitted or checked. I carry a scar from where the shooter next to me had a 1911 with a drop in barrel come apart

  • Cody, Yes standard 1911. 1911 barrels can be tricky, but you should be able to drop in a 5" 1911 45 ACP barrel in this firearm. New stainless steel barrel bushings at Brownells in IA can be had for $6. Here are some drop in barrel deals.----budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/411555962/match+grade+1911+government+model+barrel--------------budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/411555961/match+grade+1911+government+model+threaded+barrel
