  • Hi. When I pick up my Ruger AR15 pistol {101/2"} at my dealer, do we check the "handgun" or "other" box on the FFL form. Thank you, Joe

  • Joseph, it is a fully assembled pistol/handgun and should be marked as such. "Other" would be for something like transferring a lower intended for a pistol build which is not yet "manufactured"

  • Joseph, your FFL will fillout the firearm specifics on the form and will check "Handgun" as it is classified as a "Pistol".

  • Joe, It's all in the name. This a an AR pistol. It is a handgun.
