Hi. When I pick up my Ruger AR15 pistol {101/2"} at my dealer, do we check the "handgun" or "other" box on the FFL form. Thank you, Joe

Joseph, your FFL will fillout the firearm specifics on the form and will check "Handgun" as it is classified as a "Pistol".

Joe, It's all in the name. This a an AR pistol. It is a handgun.

Joseph, it is a fully assembled pistol/handgun and should be marked as such. "Other" would be for something like transferring a lower intended for a pistol build which is not yet "manufactured"
