  • Eliasar, Maybe you saw a bit on .556 ammo (tracer or normal) in a 223 specific barrel a chamber. That would be an issue. But if barrel and chamber are good for 223/.556 there should be no issue with tracer rounds. This SA Saint Edge will have no problem firing tracer 223/.556 ammunition.

  • I surely haven't read the information you're referring to so perhaps they have deeper insights but tracers are designed to mimic the trajectory of normal FMJ rounds so pressures aren't an issue and the trace compound is designed not to ignite until after the bullet has left the barrel, dubious as to whether igniting in the barrel would cause any real problems anyway. I would be cautious where you shoot them though as they can and will set the range on fire in a dry enough environment.
