Thomas - Striker fired pistols are not either DA or SA. They are striker fired - a completely different firing system. The terms DA / SA do not actually apply to any striker fired pistol.
Thomas, it is a Striker Fired Pistol. Consider it closer to a Striker Fired Single Action like a Glock as it does not have 2nd Strike Capability like a Double Action Pistol.
CZ calls it a DA but its a striker fired gun which is not really a single action or a double action. A striker fired gun (like this one) does not have a hammer but has a firing pin/striker that is under tension and the trigger releases the firing pin/striker to strike the primer the gun fires and the action cycles resetting the firing pin to be ready for the next shot there are other CZ P10 models but they will all be striker fired and have a different model number. There are many other CZ guns of all different types https://cz-usa.com/

Thomas, There is no Double Strike capability built into the firing group on the CZ P-10C firearm. This is a striker fired firearm. There in no hammer, but an internal striker. When the firearm is put into battery by sliding the slide or firing a round the striker style firing pin is set. Trigger pull moves trigger bar and disconnector off the sear to release the firing pin in the striker channel to hit primer of chambered round to discharge the round. The double action refers to the trigger safety. That is a small fin in center of trigger that must be depressed as you press on trigger to fire the weapon. Same striker fired battery of arms as Glock, M&P, Ruger SR series, Sig 320s, etc.
