Why won't this ship to me?

Traditions Firearms 1851 Colt Navy 44 Cal Black Powder Pistol
I live in Rockford Illinois and it's saying that I have to ship it to an ffl dealer. I thought that these weren't considered firearms?or in my state do i just have to pick it up from a dealer?

Brian, the State of IL has restriction even on MUZZLE LOADERS & BLACK POWDER FIREARMS which must ship to an FFL for transfer. Details here under Illinois State Restrictions: budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/illinois_restrictions.pdf

Brian, Illinois State Restrictions: ALL MUZZLELOADERS / BLACKPOWDER FIREARMS (handguns, long guns) MUST SHIP TO AN FFL DEALER. State restriction in the restricted state of IL that this firearm must be shipped to FFL to transfer to purchaser.

Congratulations Brian - this is just one more 'benefit' of living in the long-time democrat controlled state of Illinois. Sorry man. You can now plan on paying an FFL for the transfer.
