  • Here is a repost of the question I just asked (neglecting to mention the pistol):
    Bud's # 82548 (FMK 9c1)
I have watched quite a few videos and there is a discrepancy on whether the mag drops easy or not. I was at a local shop and I could not get it out without having to pull fairly firmly. This does not seem common, but enough that there seems to be quite a few negatives about this. I do not recall if I had the slide open or closed and perhaps that helps. obviously comments are very welcome

  • Mark, it would be marginally better with an open slide. The issue is with some of the magazines being slightly too thick for the magazine well creating more friction especially when loaded. Classic case of a quality control issue. Some would drop free and some would need to to be yanked out. It is not the pistol. I categorize my magazine by reliability and feel in all my firearms. Issue mags are for range only if not discarded altogether.
