Does this snake fit in 223/5.56 barrels?

I see it says 22/223. Does that mean that it works for barrels that are chambered in 223/5.56?
I am not sure what the 22 in 22/223 means.

Yadiel, yes, this Hoppe's BoreSnake .22 Caliber Bore Cleaner will fit the 22 Caliber 5.56/223 rifles and handguns perfectly.

It will fit a .223/5.56 barrel perfectly, the 22 references 22 caliber whether it be 22LR, 22WMR, 22 Short, etc. which it will also fit. I have one of these and enjoy using them very much, way easier to clean small caliber barrels with than trying to pull a patch through or jam a jag in.

Yadiel, Yes, no problem. This snake will work just fine in a 223/5.56 barrel.
