No. The single 357 cylinder can also be used for 38 special rounds. 357 and 38 are almost the same but 357 is was faster.
Andrew, no Sir. Just one 357 Magnum Cylinder that can also fire the shorter 38 Special round. All 357 Magnums can fire the shorter 38 Special round through the same cylinder.

Actually, it only has one cylinder. That cylinder is a 357 Magnum. Which basically means if you have a pistol that's chambered in 357 Magnum you are able to shoot 38 Special out of it. If you have a pistol that's chambered in 38 Special you cannot shoot 357 Magnum because it won't fit. Basically you can shoot 357 Magnum 38 Special 38 Special + P among the various rounds with those chamberings. Thank you it was my pleasure to assist you today bye.
