  • With this rifle being a target rifle, how much more accurate would this be as opposed the the ruger 8348 American standard bolt or even the mini ranch ruger bronze edition? I'm trying to narrow down my choices. Thanks

  • Gary, with the heavy target barrel, you will have less barrel harmonics than the standard which will translate into better inherent accuracy. The shooter is a big part of the equation, as well as rifle and ammunition. Not so much if you are Bob Lee Swagger. Cheers!

  • you can go here and read a ton of info and other stuff about how to set up and make these guns more accurate rimfirecentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=297

  • not really any more accurate. it will work better from a rest as the stock and forearm are shaped better for use with sand bags many people with good scopes are getting sub 1/2 inch groups with all the ruger American rimfire rifles (with ammo the gun likes) at 50 yards
