Will this shotgun be able to shoot the shorter mini-shells or is there an adapter available???

Yes, it will cycle the mini shot

Richard, Should be no problem cycling the 1 3/4" shells.

it may or may not work ( some individual guns of models that work will not) I would try a box and if they don't work I would check with Opsol Texas on possible adapter at https://opsolmini-clip.com/contact/
