Hello all,
Forgive my ignorance, this question is going to sound sort of dumb. Will I be complying with California gun law requirements regarding purchasing an out-of-state gun if I wanted to buy the CZ P10-C, which is an off roster gun here in California, if I were to purchase it from Bud's Gun Shop, which is an out-of-state dealer, and obviously have it shipped to an authorized dealer here in California? Hopefully this makes sense.

Buds would not be able to do that, as they have to confirm the item is compliant in your state before they will send it out. And any FFL that might receive it would refuse the transfer and return it, since it is not on on the roster, otherwise they could lose their license and get fees and jail time. Items have to be compliant and on roster before they will be shipped.
