Any reviews on this? I’m considering a Savage Axis II XP, a Savage Axis XP 30-06 or a Remington 770 3006. Any suggestions?

Jim, I own several Savages and all were reliable and accurate straight out of the box. Savage is known for this as a matter of fact. I opted for the 308 with wood stock but the synthetic stock will be more durable for more outdoor use in the elements. Expect to get sub MOA groups once you narrow down the loads.

Jim, You can't go wrong with any of them. All have great barrels. Will find the Remington stock will feel more substantial. I would go with the Axis ll XP. That would be my choice for a quality value 30-06. Lots of reviews. Just go to u-Tube and put any of them in search bar and watch reviews all day.
