  • Paul, recoil will be stout but with a little practice it can be reasonably controlled. Less weight on a 12gauge means more recoil so I opted for the SBT Brace Kit here : budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/718006145/sbt+mossberg+590+sbm4+kit+complete+blk

  • Paul, The recoil is a 12 ga recoil. Even with lighter 12 ga rounds it still delivers a punch. I know they sell a bunch of these, but this is an experts weapon. Some shooters may not even be able to hold it effectively.
