Raymond, slugs will not be an issue. It is highly recommended to only use Cylinder Bore Chokes for best accuracy and slug deformation at the muzzle in any smooth bore shotgun.

Raymond, No problem shooting slugs out of this shotgun. Not really what it was designed for, but it will handle shooting 3" slugs.

yes you can shoot slugs through it with no problems. be sure to check the point of impact as may O/U shotguns will shoot slugs to different impact points you will do best with chokes from cylinder to mod. and will need to try each to see which is most accurate in your gun
