Cimarron 1858 New Model Army 45 Long Colt Revolver
Can these handle modern loads and jacketed bullets since they are new production revolvers?

no ! they are made for the standard 45 LC loads and are at there best with the lower power "cowboy" loads if you want to shoot Hi power loads the Ruger Blackhawk is the way to go as it will handle any loads on the market

James, yes Sir they were designed for standard SAAMI Pressure 45LC loads. Just stay away from +P and Heavy Hunting loads and you will be golden. Cheers!
