  • Hi James that ammo is for both defense and for range practice? for 50 rds it is $16.15 I can see it being high due to the uses but isn't that as bit high to spend on range paper targets? Yes a box 2 put away for my at home gun the revolver .38 special I think it is never shot it have to practice with that one also is good idea but to use it at range I was hoping to get bulk for range so I can practice and get to like this strong recoil Taurus at a much lower price before starting on pistol lol

  • Debra, I chose this load specifically for my wife to practice and carry. Target loads are usually weaker and have a different point of impact than self defense rounds. This allows for no surprises when the SHTF when it comes to muscle memory for accuracy and follow up shots. Even though slightly more expensive, it is accurate and light recoiling and my wife shoots it well. Your reasoning is sound as well. Being former Military has taught me to prepare every advantage. Cheers!
