I'm a pistol owner but have never purchased a long gun. I was considering Smith & Wesson's M&P-15 Sport. I'm in FL. Bud's doesn't carrier this gun. FL Gun Supply has it for $650. First of all do you recommend this gun? And is the price favorable?

That's nicer then my first AR and is a great rifle to start or finish with. Can't beat that price either.
