Can this firearm be modified (after purchase) so the magazine is fixed and how is this accomplished? Has anyone done this modification? I know AR-15 and AR-10 firearms can be so modified easily but this firearm is configured differently. The Thompson would be illegal in Connecticut because of the pistol grip under the action unless it had a fixed magazine. Please don't answer hypothetically, I need an actual hands on answer.
