What are your thoughts on the price of the older colts? I have a 1978 model 6in blue never fired Python does everyone think it will still hold the current pricing?

The new Python isn't built with the level of craftsmanship the originals were, it'll certainly be more desirable than the newer one in my opinion.
Well, in my opinion I believe it will still hold the value, especially never being fired. That is amazing. You have the type of collector who prefers the new 2020 version then you have the collector who prefers original versions. To a traditionalist, he or she would prefer and pay top dollar for an old version Python. For me, I would prefer to have the 2020 version. A Python like yours, unfired and in great condition will definitely hold its value. Those beauties sell for thousands. I would like to have an old Python but I’d also rather spend thousands on different guns versus one gun. Oh, well. That’s just my two cents on your question.

Phil, absolutely no doubt. Collectors pay for Vintage which only age can produce. Being a 35 year collector myself, you can rest easy in that regard. Cheers!
