Oh, that’s a technical one. Some may kill a person with one shot while other will require more to drop or kill. Shot placement is a key factor. In most cases, people who are shot with a 22lr will not know it’s a 22lr, unless they recognize the firearm used. I’ve read stories where people who were shot in the hand died due to being scared. David, depends on shot placement and the 22. 22lr or 22-250. I know you mean 22lr so a 9mm averages 315 ft/lbs of energy and 3 or 4 22lr will average the same. Cheers!
