Is this 10 lb trigger? If so, does it put more strain on the trigger components and also could it could be converted to lighter trigger? Thanks

Travis, no Sir. This model does not have the MA required 10lb Trigger Pull. It has a a short consistent trigger pull measuring 6.5 pounds.

Travis, This Shield does have the 10 lb MA trigger. No extra strain on firing group. Matter of fact less strain on heavier spring system. It has to have that feature to be MA compliant. Plenty of Apex trigger kits out there for the Shield.
