  • Anyone have one of these derringers? The trigger pull on mine has to be about 20 lbs. I've never seen anything like it. Cobra Firearms says it's a safety measure. It's a single action and it has a trigger bar safety. I'm sending it back to them to lighten the trigger.

  • Albert, it does sound excessive. I have owned a Derringer in the past and the trigger pull was around 10lbs that I remember. Hopefully it will be much improved when you get it back. Cheers!

  • Albert, Pretty sure the attorneys will not let them lighten the trigger. Derringer triggers are heavy. 20 lb pull is quite an exaggeration. About 10 to 12 lbs is very standard on a derringer. They are meant to be used when your heart is pumping. One or two shots. Not a range or target gun.
