  • Some times you won't get a broadside shot on deer no matter how long you wait for one and I was looking for recommendations for 357 magnum ammo that will punch through a deer's shoulder bone if need be but something I could find at my local sporting goods or store gun store I've heard some good things about factory ammo loaded with Swift A-frame bullets

  • You are absolutely right. The Swift A-Frame is a tough bullet. The front half will expand and the rear half (Copper Enclosed) will keep it intact for deep penetration in factory ammunition velocities. So, you get the initial shock and energy dump with the deep penetration by design of this bullet.
