  • I bought my 1st a Mossberg Shockwave and took it to the shooting range and I realized how loud the gun is even with ear plugs...
I bought a pair of Howard Leight ear plugs for quick ear protections "I wish they cam in camo instead of orange" but what if I didn't put them on and I shot the gun would that be dangerous to my ears?
The second questions is are all bullets the same or are some quieter then others? regardless the price...

  • Yes even a few unprotected shots with a firearm can cause hearing damage you will not find much difference in the loudness of the different shotgun shells some sound different but they all are in the DB range that can causing hearing damage I use fitted ear molds made by my hearing doctor for shotgun shooting (skeet)

  • Low recoil shells would work. --- shootingillustrated.com/articles/2016/9/7/reduced-recoil-shotgun-loads/
