Looking to buy a home defense shotgun. I own a shotgun for bird hunting and trap which is way to long for in the house. Looking for some advice in brand and type . Saw those shockwaves and don’t wanna make a mistake. Thank you for any information you might have.

I prefer a pump action, full stock with a pistol grip, and a short barrel with changeable chokes. Brand and price are up to the buyer. go to your local gun shop or range, and see which you like the feel of.

Remington 870 is as classic as they come. If you really want something short, I would recommend a Remington TAC-14 with a stabilizing brace, at least then you'd be able to shoulder it somewhat and have decent control.

Edward, I would highly recommend a shotgun with a shoulder stock. The shockwave, tac-14 and those types of shotguns are a handful and savage on the wrists and hard to control.
