A lot of people who've been arrested/convicted of any crime tend to get the "further review" response. It just means a little more research into it is required. The 4473 form asks specifically if you've ever been convicted of a misdemeanor domestic violence charge, nothing else. A DUI wouldn't disqualify you unless you've had several in a short period of time in most states.

Some states are different from others. In my state I know people who had domestic violence in the past and they can still buy guns. I don’t know how your state is.

Just have to wait and see

Nicholas, depends. One of the questions on the Form 4473 asks if you have been convicted for a misdemeanor. If you answered no and the reality is yes. then it is a problem. I think less of a problem if you answered yes given the nature of the misdemeanor. Just wait until the pending is resolved and proceed from there. Cheers and stay safe Sir!
