Are the EAA 1911 series 70 or 80 style; I'm digging through the stack of budget 1911's and are trying to figure out which have firing pin blocks and which don't. If I want a FPB is my only option Taurus?

Oddly enough, most of the bargain 1911s like Rock Islands, Girsan, and Metro Arms have '70 series fire controls. Taurus might be one of the few inexpensive 1911s that does utilize a firing pin block safety. As for the EAA 1911s..The Girsans are Turkish and use '70 series design.
