a word of advice you don't want light I had a 300 Win mag in a Winchester 70 featherweight and it was brutal to shoot that said if tt was me I would go with a Remington 700 budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/14242/remington+700+adl+300win+mag+26+syn+3-9x40+scp+4rd+26in
