  • I just purchased this firearm and picked it up Friday. Everything went smoothly, even during a pandemic. However I thought the M9A1 came with the PVD coated, sand resistant magazines instead of the factory M9/92FS since they are mentioned in the description as one of the benefits. Did I make an incorrect assumption? I did email FFL@Budsgunshop.com since I saw a few users suggest it, but no response thus far (which is understandable considering current events). Any clarification would be nice.

  • Matthew, it is also my understanding that this package came with PVD coated magazines as well. I would also contact Beretta with the UPC code and model number as they would know best what the package should contain and may be able to help you quicker than Buds at 1-800-BERETTA Extension 2003. Cheers and you and yours stay safe!

  • Matthew, How can you tell they are not PVD coated? The PVD coating is vaporized in a vacuum environment into the substrate of the metal. It is not visible to the eye or really even noticeable even though it is called a coating.
