Question about shotgun shell sizes

Hello, I ordered some 2 1/4 mini buck shells, and I was wondering if I could shoot these through a shotgun that is chambered for 2 3/4 or 3? The shotgun in question is an Emperor Arms Tactical 12 gauge. Thank you in advance.
