Ruger website says the barrel's rate of twist is 1:8.5". But, other places list it 1:9.5". The specs on Bud's doesn't list it. What say all of you?

Eric, the Ruger American Model 6906 with the 22” barrel that you originally referenced has the 1:9.5” twist. The Ruger American Compact Model 6909 with an 18” barrel has a 1:8.5” twist. Hope this helps!
