The background check process is handled with the FFL dealer you have the gun shipped to in CO and isn't part of the purchase process here. The dealer will receive the firearm and have you fill out the necessary paperwork, assuming they receive a "proceed" from the instant background check system they will then transfer the firearm to you. Colorado does have a magazine capacity restriction of 15 rounds so you will need to find guns that satisfy that requirement in order to have them sent there.
