Harry, is this with one or multiple magazines? Other magazines would be a quick test to narrow down if it is magazine relate or pistol related. Magazines are known to cause the bulk of firing issues. You can also disassemble/ clean the inside of the magazine and make sure the follower glides up and down smoothly. Try using CCI Mini mags for the next 500 rounds and these guns will only work well with high velocity 22 lr ammo

the most finicky pistols are .22 semi autos.....try different ammo.....standard velocity .22 ammo may not have enough energy to reliably get the slide all the way back in order to eject the empty case. Try something like CCI Mini Mags .22 LR or Winchester Super-X. I suspect most of the issues will go away.
