looking at 3 different models, s&w mp sport II,ruger ar556,and this kel tec cnc 223 16 . all bout same price(when others are in stock. i know this one is lighter,but i wanna know how does it compare to the well known names like ruger,and s&w. i read a review on how the kel tech runs cleaner.any info will be great. thank you.

Chris, the Kel-tec report of running a bit cleaner is not true. The same ammunition run through all three would have the same dirtiness. The Keltec would just take longer to clog due to the slightly larger gas return tube. That being said, reliability is comparable across the board. In order of accuracy, the Ruger is first, the S&W Sport II and Kel-tec. Out of the three, my personal choice would be the Ruger AR556. Cheers and stay safe!
