Looking over Bud's website for Walther Arms Colt 1911 22 LR handguns, my question involve model numbers. Seems like a lot of similarity between a model 5170304, a 5170303 and a model 3170306. Do the last 3 digits in the model number designate something I should be aware of? There is the Colt model 2245700; another Government model, the last three digits are in the "700" series. Finally another Walther, a 517030810. What's the differences? These numbers, a date of manufacture or ?
