it is like any other 10mm handgun and is a strong round many 10mm loads are loaded to the same specs as a 40 S&W but you can think of a full power 10mm as a 40 S&W magnum

10mm is a nice, powerful round. My Glock 20SF handles it wonderfully. "Range" rounds shoot easily, low recoil. Doubletap ammunition make the pistol preform like it was made to, without excessive recoil. The recoil of full load 10mm is nothing compared to the recoil of a 44Mag S&W revolver with a 2" barrel.

Stanley, The Glock 10 mm models are very comfortable to shoot. I have a Gen 3 G20, Gen 4 G20 and Gen 4 G40. All easy shooters. You can get hot rounds in any caliber. Same for 10 mm. Most range ammo is no more snappy then shooting a 40 S&W. Underwood, Doubletap, and Buffalo Bore and some other high quality heavier rounds do not make the Glock 10 mm's unmanageable.

Stanley, I have been a member of the AR15.com 10-Ring forum for years. The glock 10mm is not that difficult to shoot. Does it have recoil, yes but, the Glocks low bore axis pushes recoil straight back which helps reduce muzzle flip. As far as power, basically a Full 10mm load has the same velocity and energy at 100 yards as a 45ACP does at the muzzle. On a Glock 20 you can shoot 4 calibers with just a barrel change - 10mm - 357 Sig - 40 S&W and 9x25 Dillon. I use almost exclusively Underwood and Doubletap 10mm Ammunition.
