How come Bud's list this at one price and then when you get to check out, a higher "retail price" comes up. How come it's advertised for free layaway but when I get to check out, Free Layawar is not available for this item? Has any one noticed this trend. I really don't appreciate lack of transparency and inconsisticies here.

The layaway program has been temporarily suspended until further notice. This is nit a bait and switch company. This is a large and very reputable company. The price also depends on how you pay for the item. Some payment types require the full price while others may have a cash discounted price. Please be patient as the entire industry is have some issues. It was my pleasure to assist you.

Frank, new layaway's have been suspended, even for Team Buds Members, until Buds gets caught up with the massive backlog of orders and shipping. When things are normal they will reinstate layaway options. Maybe Buds Customer Service can answer the price issue at Live Chat lower right corner. Cheers and you and yours stay safe!
