Okay, I’ll ask this way... WHY does the site show it online as “Retail only” when it didn’t used to? I’m in Michigan. I’m willing to buy it!

I believe that it is due to their new shop in Tenn. , you can still order anything on line from them. They are the best when it comes to ordering on line and you get you products very fast from Buds.
Chris, Buds has relegated more of their inventory to walk in foot traffic. I think they did this due to the overwhelming demand of online orders which they could not keep up with. Walk in sales are immediate and no shipping required which likely lowers their backlog of online orders. Trust me when I tell you that online order volume almost brought them to a stand still from 5 to 7 days ship averages to almost 4 weeks at one point.
As a whole our 4+ million customer's know more about firearms than we do. If you have a general question about a product we highly recommend that you first try out our customer Q&A feature. More often than not you will receive multiple answers to your question in minutes.

with the latest update to the site software they changed the way they showed retail stock before this there was a letter which showed which (if any) retail stores had the item in stock.
