  • I believe Trin K is mistaken. This Rifle Ruger 10/22 model 21186 as per Rugers website does indeed come with an optics rail tou will have to install it your self but it is super easy, 2 screws and your good to go.
"Combination scope base adapter for both Weaver-style and .22 tip-off scope mounts included."(copy and pasted from Rugers website https://ruger.com/products/1022TargetLite/models.html)
Mine came with a Weaver rail and the weaver rails are a bit different then 1913 mil standard picatany rails and limited where I could mount my reddot, so I purchased an after market rail for $9.99 (NC star brand) and it works perfect ot doesnt say in Rugers site if this comes with a Weaver rail or a 1913 pic rail but depending on your mount and optic either may work, and it's easy enough to pick up another one if it's not the one you wanted hope that helps, have a good day.

  • Hi,
This Ruger 10/22 is not optics ready. You need to purchase pic rail to install on the receiver in order to mount optics. This video shows the step of mounting rail on the 10/22 (youtube.com/watch?v=Y0T2yNfs5fM). I hope this helps
