How is the SAI M1A rifle stock finished.

If I bought this rifle I would like to add linseed oil coats to the stock. When the gun is shipped to me, how is the stock finished? Linseed oil? Is there any wax coating?

Gavin, the SAI M1A ships with a American walnut stock with Linseed oil. There is not Wax Coating. Cheers and stay safe!

I believe that the stock is carved from walnut with an oiled finish. I am not sure if there is any wax coating on it. I hope this helps.
