Adam, this will not be permanent Sir. My theory is that due to current events, lower staff levels and out of control online order volume, Buds has moved more of their inventory to in store sales for foot traffic sales only. This may be a more sustainable arrangement for them in the current ultra high demand market. Of course this does not help non local folks looking for firearms. Cheers and stay safe!

That can definitely be frustrating, make sure you hit the notify me when available button as team buds members get 72 hour early notice when hard to get items come in stock. So you'll have 1st dibs when they come in.
With the hellcat I'd highly recomend the OSP version as this version is milled to accept a reddot from the factory, I've been looking at milling the slides for some of my pistols and it us way more expensive to get it done by an aftermarket company, plus you can void the warranty by having a 3rd party alter your gun.

Adam, This is not permanent. Pull the trigger and get something. It is going to get tougher to find a firearm you want before it gets easier. You don't need to get your dream gun now just get something. More you wait harder it will be.

This is not permanent. Due to COVID and panic buying, it's simply an issue of their online warehouse stock drying up...leaving only retail stock available. There has not been changed on Buds side to sell retail only, its just that retail don't sell us well and leave some gun available. Buds separates its online and retial stocks, and it derive vast majority of the sale from online. I hope this help.
