This combined with the interchangeable barrel system of the CZ455 will allow the user to easily change the stock configuration as well as the caliber of their rifle. The 455 retains the accuracy and quality of the adjustable trigger, hammer forged barrel and bullet machined receiver from the CZ 452. Improvements that the 455 brings include manufacturing technology and tighter tolerances for improved accuracy and smoother operation. The American model is the first to see the benefits of the change from 452 to 455.

The barrel length is 20.5. This model was discontinued in 2018. The new model, the CZ 457 American Combo has a 24.8 inch barrel.
